Job Description
This rewarding role involves working alongside E tū union members
to organise and advocate for a better, fairer experience at work and in society.
supporting and developing workplace leaders to build collective power.
This role requires a person with energy and commitment to social justice principles and the union movement.
The role will be allocated to organising in the first instance. However the focus may change over time between advocacy, organising and campaigning, depending on the needs of the union and personal development.
Previous experience as a union delegate/organiser or advocate in another organisation would be an advantage.
Applicants must be self-motivated, committed to learning and development and able to work independently within a dynamic team.
Desired Skills and Experience
MUST HAVES:
A current full NZ driver's licence
Good computer literacy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Commitment to social justice
